New Year's Special: A Secret to Share

Hi, guys! I have a confession to make! I have a secret to share! YES, a confession, a secret!
Well, 2014 is on its way to visit us. So, a HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU!! 2013 has been a great year for me, many happy things happened, of course, there are some sad things too, but, overall, it was a pretty happy and fun year for me! How about you? Did you enjoy your 2013? So... Now, for my secret.  My secret is I want to say THANK YOU to everyone, even you, yes! You may be someone I don't know, just a visitor visiting my blog, and because of that, I would like to say thank you for taking time to come here and read my blog! It touches me when I see the number of visitors in my blog not zero, but one, two, three, four, five, etc.! To all my friends, thank you for the friendship we've shared! I am happy that you became a part of my life. I hope our friendship will continue until…. Well, forever? …if you don’t mind! Haha :P To all my teachers, mentors, I thank the Lord for sending you into my life, because without you, I will be sad. :((( …because other than my parents, there would be no one else to guide me, teach me things. :))) To my parents, I don't know what to say other than a big big big big big THANK YOU!!!!! Thank you for your unfailing support, for your love, for your care, and everything else! I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for you
, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Who else did I miss? Of course, our Almighty God!!!! Lord, thank you for the suuuuper many, bountiful blessings you've showered to me and my family! Thank you for sending your son, Jesus Christ to die for us on the cross here on earth to wash away our sins. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, LORD GOD!!!! …So, I guess that's pretty much done? No one's left in the list!

Stop or Move?

Yesterday, I was watching this TV series entitled "小妹", which is "Little Sister" in English. There was this guy, named Fu Yu, who was born in a poor family. His mom is someone who drinks alcohol all day long, even if Fu Yu tells her not to drink, and his dad is someone who repairs bicycles. His dad works so slow, that customers do not want to come to their shop anymore, so they don't earn much living to buy their everyday needs. In order to solve this problem, Fu Yu, 7 years old, has to work outside to help his parents. Years passed, and time has come for Fu Yu to go to military service. In Taiwan, it's a normal thing for boys to go to the military and serve for 14 months when they reach the age of 18. When he finished his service, he immediately went back home to help his father with the bicycle shop. Day after day pass, and their bicycle shop began to earn some money. His mother still drinks all day long, and now, Fu Yu begins to shout at her telling her to not drink, because the money he earned is just wasted. One day, the drunkard mother vomited blood, she was sent to the hospital, and was diagnosed to have lung disease phase III. Fu Yu shared to his father what he really thinks, about his mother drinking all day long, and this was overheard by the mother. Then, the mother realized the filial piety his son shows, and she decided to stop drinking. This is very hard for the mother, because she has been drinking for 20-30 years already. One day, she can't take it anymore, she stole some money from the drawer, where his son's earnings are, and went to buy alcohol. Eventually the son found out, and was angry for what she has done. And the mother also, she was very very angry, that she told her son to go out of the house. At first, the son did not want to go out, but the mother's words are really getting over the line, he finally said yes, he is gonna go out of the house. He ran to the forest and and to the river, and tells the gods how ridiculous his mother is, he pour out all his sorrows, and thinks he can do nothing. But then, a spark came in him, and he said to himself, "I am a person! I can make my tomorrow better!"

Our tomorrows will be brighter!

All of us can make our tomorrows better, because we are humans. We have the capability to make a change, that is for the better, and not for the worst! We must say, "We are not robots, who are limited to these and that. We are humans, who can do these and that!"  We cannot just stop because somebody said or did something, we have to move on and MAKE A CHANGE! So, are you ready to MAKE A MOVE?

My World of Me

Hi, hello, aloha, everyone! So, guess who? Yes, you're right! It's me, Steffi! Remember me? Steffi???  Oh, you don't remember me? So sad... Well, let me introduce myself then! :-P Let's start with my name... Steffi Anne Chong! Age? 19 years old. How about occupation? Student! Where? Grace Christian College! What? I'm taking up Bachelor of Science major in Information Technology. There! What else do you want to know??
Likes? Well, I like the color blue!!! But not too much of it like everything purely blue (as in trees are blue, flowers are blue). That's really a big NO! A mixture of other colors would be better, so that life would be colorful, right? Hahaha! 
And then, I like to sing too! I like to sing! ...and dance? No, not dance, only sing! Ever since I was like a young girl, I was in our school's chorale group until I was in my senior high school year, and because of the long long long years of singing, my passion for singing developed. :-) ....but I'm also a shy-type of person, so I don't usually sing out loud :-P
So, did you know that I am a Christian?? Well, now you know!!! Haha! So, now... Let's go back to the favorites part again.
My favorite verse in the Bible is found in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". I like this verse because this verse tells me that through thick and thin, God is always right beside me, giving me strength to face all my problems/obstacles. This verse gives me strength to hold still and go on, and not give up!! 
Hmmm.... What else did I miss???? Oh oh oh!!!! And one more thing, and the most important thing of all!!! I LIKE TO EAT!!!!!!
Oh boy, I nearly forgot about that! I love eating different kinds of food! If it's food, you will never hear me say "NO"!!!!! I especially like blueberry chessecake when it comes to DEZZZZERTS!!!!!, it's just sooooooooooooo YUMMY, DELICIOUS!!!!!!! .....so CAN'T RESIST!!! So, now I'm quite done! And now it's your turn to introduce, okay????
